Jacob Campion

Jacob Campion, Controller

Mr. Campion serves as MidWest Enterprises for the Blind’s (MWEB) Controller and is a member of the organization’s Leadership Team. In his role, he provides management and direction for MWEB’s financial and accounting interests. Mr. Campion’s supervision includes day-to-day accounting activities, treasury management, internal and external financial reporting, annual audits, budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.

 

Mr. Campion leads MWEB’s Quality Work Environment Team (QWE), a group that exists to offer employees a channel to contribute to continuous process improvement and overall workplace satisfaction. In 2022, Mr. Campion and the QWE team were honored by National Industries for the Blind (NIB) with the national Quality Work Environment Outstanding Achievement Award.

 

In 2017, Mr. Campion graduated from Western Michigan University (WMU) where he received a Bachelor of Art in Accountancy. Post graduation from WMU Mr. Campion worked for Global Orange Development as an Accounts Receivable Lead. While working in accounts receivable Mr. Campion gained experience maintaining bookkeeping, database management, creating financial reports, creating balance sheets, updating client accounts, and ensured timely and accurate collection of payments from customers.
